September 2023 College Tours

In Fall 2023, the Sticky Feet Productions team hit the road and took our co-designed methodology on tour.

(Shoutout to the students and faculty of the University of Georgia, Amherst College, NC State, UNC-Chapel Hill, Elon University, Columbia University, and New York University...SFP loves you guys).

Working with several on-campus filmmaking organizations, we hosted co-designed filmmaking workshops, screened Sticky Feet the movie, and engaged with student creatives on campus through tabling events.

Avni and Shelby also had the opportunity to visit a handful of Communications and Screenwriting professors’ classrooms to speak directly to their students about co-designed filmmaking and their debut feature film.

In anticipation of our debut feature film, we also focused on building our participatory audience community and surveying students to refine our methodology of audience engagement.

Students from the above universities had the unique opportunity to be the first ones to make decisions about SFP’s next co-designed project. With over 1000 survey results, these students turned participatory audience members chose what Sticky Feet Productions’ debut feature film will be about.

Our participatory audience members have already chosen the foundation of our debut feature film. The SFP team is so excited to begin planning all the co-designed elements and community-building events that will come from this film!

Currently, the Sticky Feet Productions team is deep in the stages of development and fundraising.

In Summer 2024, we will launch our first Writer’s Room Cohort- a handpicked group of talented creatives charged with writing our feature film. Want a chance to experiment on this journey with us? Visit the ‘Join Our Team’ page.
